this morning, we attended CarSem (career seminar) for the graduating students. with the theme: "The Thomasian Professional: Making a Difference in the World of Work". there were two speakers, a graduate of food tech that is now a plant supervisor, and the other one who graduated from the college of commerce and is now a HR manager. they were good speakers and i learned a lot from the talk. i realized that food technology is a very interesting and promising course. : ) it is in demand in the industry. (i hope i'll get a job as soon as i graduate haha!) the speaker also said that companies hire for attitude, then train for skill. and that we should make our profession our passion. they also gave tips on how to prepare for a job interview. after the talk, we were given a cream roll and a small chocolate cake from gardenia. : ) yung isang speaker dun nag wwork hehe.
